1. What is the best thing about living where you do?

I  would say the best about living where I do is that I live around all my close friends and can always walk over their house whenever I want to hang out with them.

2. Tell us why your school is unique?

My school is unique because each grade gets separated into teams/groups for example I’m on team 8-2 which is the BEST TEAM EVER!!!!!! Also for my history class we get to blog, which I think is pretty cool.

I’m very excited about high school, but I do have some fears. One of my fears is that I’m going to have no idea where to go to, and get lost. Another one is that i’m not going to know anyone in my classes. That is mostly what my fears are. I’m very excited about basketball season next year, because basketball is my favorite sport, and a lot of my friends play that sport too. So if any of my friends aren’t in my classes, I can hang out with them at basketball.

The person I look up to the most would probably be my sister. We do almost everything together, we tell each other secrets, help each other with homework or projects, we play almost all the same sports, and she also gives me rides to places I need to go to. Whenever I get hurt or in trouble with something or someone she always has my back, and that is one of the top reasons why I picked her, because I would have no idea what I would do without her.

I wonder about a lot of things, but out off all the things I wonder about the most, would probably be, will I stay with my family, because i’m alway scared that i’m going to lose them especially my dad. I would miss my dad the most because he is in a wheel chair, and he has been to the hospital a lot because he has been sick. Right now he is okay, so I’m not that scared right now, but you never know what can happen.

Willebord van Roijen died on October 30th 1626. He was famous for figuring out how to measure the earth. He made contributions to trigonometry. He also has a law which is in optics, a relationship between the path taken by a ray of light in crossing the boundary or surface of separation between two contacting substances and the refractive index (q.v.) of each. This law was discovered in 1621 by the Dutch astronomer and mathematicinWillebrord van Roijen Snell.

Over all Willebord van Roijen was a very smart man and mathematicin. He made a lot of laws that some of us might not of figured out without him so I am very glade about what he had done. =]

I want to learn about Tigons. I found out that they are a mix between a female lion and a male tiger. They are very rare and are taken held by private owners. They look similar ligers the only difference between a tigon and a liger is their size. A a tigon is much smaller than a liger, in fact tigons are most likely to be smaller than their parents too. A tigon has varying stripes and spots with an orangish color on their fur.

One day I was hanging out with my friend and we were jumping off swings. So my friend jumped off and fell right on her stomach so I started to laugh, and I forgot to put my hands on the swing so I wouldn’t fall off, but I did. I landed right on my arm and I heard a snap, but i didn’t think that I hurt my arm I just thought that I landed on a stick. So when I went to get up and go back on my swing my friend was like gross look at your arm, so I look down and see that two of my bones were sticking out of my arm! For some reason it didn’t hurt but it was very very gross.

The most current event that I think will change my life is gas for cars and oil for heating. I think that the gas for cars will change the current event in my life because every year it seems like the price for gas is rising up and when I’m old enough to have a car and drive I might not be able to pay for gas and be able to get to places. Now I think that oil for heating is going to change the current event for my life because at night I get very cold and in the winter it get very cold too. So now if the oil price moves up then people like me won’t be able to pay for it and then there wouldn’t be anymore heat in my house and other houses too. That is why I think that gas and oil will change the current event in my life.

My dream is to play on the Uconn Basketball team when I’m older. The only thing that is keeping me back from accomplishing my dream is homework/school work because I think that my grades should be better, and also when I come home from school I have to do my homework for all of my class. After that I usually pratice at my house but then it gets to dark and I have to go inside so I get eaten alive bugs. On the bright side I do go to a lot of basketball camps and play on at least 2 basketball teams so I could probably just pratice there. I also went to a Uconn camp this summer and met some of the players and they gave me some tips on what I should work on. So what I think I really need to work on is getting good grades so I could get into Uconn and hopefully play on their girls basketball team.
